I have the most beautiful photo (and memory) of my adult son who has a brain injury working hard to get his Junior Ranger badge. The volunteer, a young man, treated my son like he was the best thing since sliced bread. He quickly noticed how much effort my son put into the work. He gave him the little ceremony just like it was meant especially for him. It was the BEST. I wish I could send you the photo. I’m so grateful for the National Park system. My son’s wish is to visit them all. We made it to the Everglades in November. He buys a t-shirt and a pin from every one. He has his Passport book that travels with him.
