I want to say thank you to all the individuals in the Ranger Service, as well as those who maintain our parks, for the jobs they do every day preserving the wildlife and natural world for the enjoyment of the general public. It's important that the experiences of hiking, river rafting, camping and enjoying pristine surroundings be available for people to enjoy as children and as adults. Shenandoah, and other national parks, helped mold my appreciation of our living earth as a child and carried over into my adulthood. Wonderful memories have lasted a lifetime and I appreciate all of you who contribute to the experiences we enjoy in our National Parks. You are much appreciated, and may God bless you.
