Your kindness and help was not overlooked and in my absolute hysteria of missing an opportunity, you showed absolute and genuine kindness and concern. Thank you so much for helping me get information about obtaining a backcountry permit and information about the area where I ended up going, Granite Lake basin. It was a really incredible place and well worth the 4000 + ft vertical gain to reach it. I also appreciate your tracking of fire information when I stopped back in at the Visitor Center after my backpack trip and told you about the fresh new smoke plume visible from Panorama Point along Park Ridge.
Your patients with park attendees is admirable, as you share the story for independence of the United States.
The knowledge from your park service will overwhelmingly last you through your long and deserved retirement, when it happens......
